Q How does one submit their work?
A The Submission Form link button shall be uploaded to the Entry Guidelines
page on 2010 January 8 (Friday) ~ January 29 (Friday).
Please click on the Submission Form, and kindly submit your work.
Q I cannot access the submission form / I cannot upload images of my work / There is no response when I click on the “submit” button.
A Please re-try accessing the form and uploading your work from a high-speed Internet connection. If you are trying to connect from an ADSL or telephone-based line, uploading large image files can take too long, creating the possibility of a connection error. (Connecting to the system to upload can become particularly difficult on the day of the final deadline due to heavy traffic from applicants. Please try to send your submission as early as possible.)
Q Has the submission been completed?
A The confirmation e-mail with your entry number shall be sent to your registered
e-mail account.
Upon receipt of this confirmation e-mail, your submission shall be complete.
Q I have not received the e-mail containing the entry number and confirmation of receipt of my submission. Has the process been completed and has my submission been properly received?
A Have you placed any SPAM filters or other domain limitations on e-mail that can be received by the address you provided for the confirmation e-mail to be sent to? In the case of free e-mail systems such as Yahoo!, Hotmail, etc., it is possible that the address used by the WSCA2010 administrative office (wsca2010@powwow.co.jp) will be re-directed into the “unwanted mail” folder by the systems’ spam filters. If you have provided a mobile phone-based address, limitations you have placed on e-mail that will be accepted may prevent our e-mail from being received. Please confirm these settings before making your submission.
Q There were some accidental errors in the project names, overviews, etc. I provided in my submission. Is it possible for me to ask you to fix these errors?
A The WSCA2010 administrative office cannot amend or add to any submission. If there has been an error in your submission, please re-apply, and contact us by e-mail providing the entry number of the submission you wish to cancel, together with an explanation of why you wish to do so.
Q I would like to insert concept words or titles into the images I am submitting. Is it possible to include this sort of text?
A Yes, it is possible to insert concept text. Please outline any such text when
saving as a PDF.
Q I made my submission after 24:00 JST (Japan standard time) on the final deadline day. Will my submission be received?
A The deadline for submissions is 24:00 JST. In the case of submissions begun just prior to this deadline, there are instances where it can take some time for the data upload to be completed, so the submission form page will remain open until the following operating day. Please be aware, however, that fundamentally speaking only submissions fully received by 24:00 JST on the day of the final deadline will be accepted.
Q Do the T shirt design proposals have to be two dimensional?
A We will not be accepting excessive three dimensional designs.
Q Do restrictions apply as to where the graphics and / or secondary treatments can be placed?
A No restrictions apply. They can be in the front, back, neck, sleeve, etc.
Q Do restrictions apply as to size?
A Designs should be based on the premise that they can be used for merchandising.
Q Do restrictions apply as to materials?
A No restrictions apply.
Q Can one submit proposal variations?
A No restrictions apply, as long as the proposal including the story is expressed within 4 files.
Q What kind of a shop is a 1m2 shop?
A That shall is left up to your imagination.
Q What is the additional optional contract?
A There is a possibility for winners to be commissioned under a separate contract for WORLD CO., LTD. In the case that a shop design is commissioned to be executed, a design fee will be paid separately from WORLD CO., LTD.

Attach your filled out submission form with a post card (fill in return addressee name and address on postcard) to be sent to your address to notify you of the receipt of your work.
Upon receipt of the postcard with the confirmation of the receipt of your work, your submission shall be complete. - Applicants residing outside Japan
The confirmation e-mail with your entry number shall be sent to your e-mail address registered in the submission form.
Upon receipt of this confirmation e-mail, your submission shall be complete.
